Patricia L. Freitag (nee Geldnich) age 81, passed away in her home on October 1st, 2018. She was born on January 16th, 1937 in Hartford, Wisconsin to Gladys and Lester Geldnich . She attended Slinger High School, graduating in 1955. She was united in marriage with Robert “Bugs” Freitag on August 15th, 1958. She spent her life as a loving wife of 60 years, a loving and caring mother and grandmother who cherished her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, especially Shirley Wolf and Jeannie Becker, and too many others to mention.

Patricia is survived by her husband Robert, her children Mike Freitag (Betty McGlothin), Jeff “Jesse” (Carol) Freitag, Lisa (Jeff Patasius) Freitag, grandchildren Mike (Samantha) Freitag, Kaylee Patasius, Janelle (Jason) Lisko, Michelle (Karl) Mercado-Sanders, and Steve (Jillian Sanders) Koulias; great-grandchildren Cheyenne and Austin Freitag and Kelsey and Kenna Lisko. She is further survived by her brother Thomas (Beverly) Geldnich, sister Marlene (Walter) Gundrum, brother-in-law Carl (the late Marlene) Freitag, brother-in-law Tom Cornell (the late Carol), sister-in-law Sandy Harris, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lori Ann Freitag, granddaughter Jennifer Ann Freitag, her brother Jerome “Jerry” Geldnich, sister-in-law Joanne Geldnich, and her mother and father-in-law
Henry and Mary Freitag.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 5th at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington Street, Slinger) with Father Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, October 5th from 9:00 am until Mass at 11:00 am.
