Obituary for Alan R. Bohn

Alan Richard Bohn, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at his home in the Town of Trenton. He was born on January 4, 1950 in West Bend to Francis and Marion (nee Becker) Bohn. He grew up in Kewaskum, attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and graduated Kewaskum High School in 1968. Alan married Joan (nee Lamp) on May 22, 1976 at St. John’s in Newburg. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 139 for 35 years. Alan enjoyed playing sports, especially the years with the Amerahn Softball Team and the Washington County Pool League. He also enjoyed watching sports, ice fishing, golfing, dining out, visiting casinos and traveling to Vegas.

Alan is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joan; his children, Marcus Bohn, Tiffany (Gus) Witte; grandsons, Riley Bohn, Mason Wamsley-Bohn and the twins Grayson and Adrian Witte; step-mother, Therese Bohn; brother, Tom (Jill) Bohn; siblings-in-law, Darleen (Gary) Koch, Joyce (James) Ksioszk, Karen Krueger, Laureen (Brian) Bastian, Melinda (Derek) Berube; nieces and nephews, Jim (Kerrie) Bohn, Lisa (Joel) Klahn, Rick (Gloria) Krahn, Mike Ksioszk, Eric (Tina Ebert) Ksioszk, Greg Ksioszk, Adam (Sara Heppe) Bastian, Casie (Cory) Stuettgen, Whitney (Josh) Maxwell, Carson Bastian, Evan Berube and Zach Berube. He is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.

Alan is preceded in death by his father Frank, mother Marion Baumhardt, his brothers Lee Bohn, Gary Bohn, Marvin “Ozzie” Bohn and his sister Carol Bohn, his parents-in-law Andrew and Elaine Lamp and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hefter.

A Funeral Service will be at 7:30PM on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor John C. Bass presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 3:30PM until 7:15PM.
