Obituary for Angela Rose Sheets (Owens)

Angela Rose  Sheets (Owens)
Angela Rose Sheets (nee Owens) “Ang” “Angie”, age 38, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born on July 10, 1979 to Charlie and Judy (nee Smerlinski) Owens. She graduated from Slinger High School Class of ’97 and Winona State in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Communications. She married Ryan Sheets on April 14, 2012. Angie loved being outdoors, nature, reading and music. She also loved horses, hiking and traveling. She was a member of Imerman Angels in Chicago. Above all, her kids and family were everything to her.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Ryan; adored children, Connor and Danielle; her parents, Charlie and Judy; siblings, Shelly (fiancé Matt Stever) Owens and David (fiancée Chelsea Thomas) Owens; sister-in-law Abby Sheets; parents-in-law Joe and Cindy Sheets; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Angie is preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank Smerlinski and grandma, Sara Owens.

The first Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15th from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). A Prayer Vigil will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM. A second Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 9:00 AM until 10:15 at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington St, Slinger). The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 10:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to METAvivor or The Kathy Hospice in memory of Angie.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Horizon Hospice, Heartland Hospice and The Kathy Hospice for all their compassionate care.
