Obituary

Barbara Jo Gallegos (nee Beaupre), age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at her home in West Bend. She was born in Two Rivers on December 20, 1950 to Cletus and Marcella Beaupre. She graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers in 1969. Barbara and Roberto were married in 1983 and moved to Germantown shortly thereafter. Barbara worked at Schwans Ice Cream as a telecommunications specialist for many years, a job which she greatly enjoyed and where she made many lifelong friends. She loved to travel. One of her favorite places to visit was the Wisconsin Dells, a place where she had memories of visiting with her parents as a child, and where she made many memories with her own children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Roberto C. Gallegos; children: Kyra, wife of Jacob Lentz of Palmyra, PA, and their children, Nowell, Roman, Constantine, Noah, and Josiah; Yolanda Gallegos, fiance of William “TJ” Overton, and their children, Marcella Peplinski, Anastasia Peplinski, and Donovan Overton; Roberto T. Gallegos, partner of Kristie Martin; along with many loving nephews, nieces and extended family.

Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos of bits and pieces of Barb’s life. She appeared very happy. I went to school with Barb and remember that beaming grin of hers. You have my condolences.

I was a classmate of Barb's from kindergarten through High school. She was a special friend and I have many great memories! Unfortunately, as we graduated high school and got married, we traveled apart. Each of us building our new lives and families. I had some correspondence with her over the years and enjoyed our visits. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time! Know that there are others that share in your grief.

She sure did love The Dells and also really enjoyed going to the casino's and Crab legs. Miss you....

I was a classmate and friend of Barb. We hung around together for a bit after graduation until our lives just moved on. She was a great girl and always ready for a good time. Her Mom and Dad were special people also. So sorry for your loss.
