Obituary for Bernice Hilda Hailey
Bernice H. Wenninger-Hailey (nee Trott), age 80, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2020 at Froedtert of West Bend surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 17, 1940 in Kohlsville, Town of Wayne to Harry and Stella (nee Basler) Trott. Bernice enjoyed playing games, puzzles, Green Bay Packers and especially time with her family. She loved to have fun, and brought out her sass. It was hard not to love her spunk.
She married Bruno Wenninger on May 17, 1958 and her passed away on December 29, 1988. Bernice found love again when she married Thomas Hailey on January 13, 2006. Tom passed away on March 28, 2013.
Bernice is survived by her children, Shirley Crass, Caroline (Donn Yetka), Roy (Sherry) Wenninger, Lee (Angela) Wenninger and Jamie (Shaun) Webber, step-children James Hailey, Ryan Hailey, Tiffany (Nate) Cummings. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Jaci, Joshua, Kaylee, Brian, Nicole, Jacob, Justin, Jeremy, Zachary, Jessica, Erica, Rebecca, Isiah, Elijha, Abbi, Karrisa, Kenzi and Kai, step-grandchildren, Katlyn, Brienna, Morgan, Trista, Kaden, Camron, and Eli, great-grandchildren, Skyler, Max, Piper, Giovanni, Savannah, Cole, Olivia, Stella, Alyssa, Logan, Brayden, Remi, Harleigh, Knox, Zander, Ethan, Colt and Dixon, brother Roy Trott and Sister Doris Hafeman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, husbands Bruno and Thomas, in laws, step-son Thomas Hailey Jr., sisters Vernette Giese and Irene Boettcher.
A Private Ceremony will be held by the family. Due to Covid-19 a Celebration of Life gathering for Bernice will be held for family and friends at a later date.
Special Thank You to Dr. Drenkow for his care and compassion, the nursing staff, especially Kelsey and Sandy on the MCU. To everyone at Serenity Villa for the loving care they provided for the last several years, especially Amy, Rebecca, Kim, Carrie, Mitch and so many others.
