Obituary for Allen Carl Chapman

Allen Carl  Chapman
Allen Carl Chapman, age 80, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend. He was born on January 27, 1938 to Eugene and Evelyn (nee Patterson) Chapman.

Allen was a proud Navy Veteran and a former Engineer for Johnson Controls.

Allen was an avid Wisconsin sports fanatic who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, trying his luck at the casino and vacationing in sunny Arizona. He greatly enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers and giving lots of love and pets to his four-legged buddy, Capone.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years, Barbara (nee Orchard) Chapman, his brother Michael and his loving parents Eugene and Evelyn.

Allen is survived by his sister Judith Chapman of West Bend, his children; Theresa of Jackson, Wayne (Roberta) of West Bend, Steven (Dara) of Hartford and Jeffrey of Jackson; grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Schultz of West Bend, Andrew of Hartford, Heather of Hartford, Melanie (Patrick) Hill of West Bend, Jeremy of Milwaukee and David Chapman of West Bend, and Chad Wolfe of West Bend; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Schultz and a little sibling on the way. Allen is further survived by his loving companion Linda Adams, nieces, nephews, the Patterson and Orchard families and many dear friends. A very special thank you to the amazing nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

A Military Honors Ceremony will take place at the Garden of Eternal Life Mausoleum at 10:00AM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Wisconsin Memorial Park (13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53005). Please meet in the Green Area at 9:45AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are appreciated.
