Barbara and Judy, So sorry for the loss of your mom. I worked with your mom, " Grandma Carol " at Rapid Mart for many years. It was a joy to work with her and see her smiling face on Sunday mornings when we worked together.

I worked in retail with Carol at Theisen's IGA store (Gundrum's Ins) when I was in high school. It was my first job and she made it fun for me with her cheerful attitude and willing smile. So glad I got to know her! Lessons learned served me well as my career moved on--people may be having a bad day but, with a little effort, you can make them smile.

Carol was a very special lady. She always had a smile on her face and found humor in everything. She worked hard and loved harder. Blessings to the family.

What a blessing to have had Carol in your lives for so long. She will be greatly missed, not only by her family but by all who knew her. So may the years of wonderful memories of her comfort all in this time of sadness and may God’s promises give hope. (Isaiah 26:19; Psalms 29)
