Obituary for Cecilia Katherine Kroll (Reinders)

Cecilia K. Kroll (nee Reinders) of the Town of Saukville, died on Tuesday December 11th, 2018. She was born on November 15th, 1923 in the Town of Barton to Alfred and Olive (nee Bohn) Reinders. Baptized and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church, West Bend. She married Monroe Beger on June 19th, 1943 at St. Martin’s UCC Church in Fillmore. He preceded her in death on November 12th, 1966. On April 19th, 1969 she married Edward Kroll at Trinity Lutheran West Mequon and he preceded her in death on December 13th 2013. Cecilia was a former member of the Kettle Moraine Quilters and made quilts for all of her grandchildren when they graduated from high school, and for her children when they celebrated their 25 year marriage anniversaries. Cecilia’s other interests were reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, golf, playing sheepshead and dancing the polka.

Cecilia is survived by her nine children; Suzanne (Gary) Laubenstein of Saukville, Sandra (Peter) Jungers of Plymouth, Janice (Art) Laubenstein of Saukville, Bonnie (James) Steffen of Random Lake, Monroe (Laurie) Beger of Cascade, Larry (Marsha) Beger of Fredonia, Christine Beger of Waukesha, Jo (Barry) Barefoot of Green Valley Arizona, and Debbie (Shakeel) Ali of West Bend, brothers Paul (Shirley) Reinders, Joseph (Marlene) Reinders, and Alfred Jr. (Shari) Reinders, sisters Theresa (Matt) Stoffel, Rita Bruckert, MaryAnn Mayer, Alice (Peter) Schulties, Judy (Bernard) Beck, and Rose (Ray) Zingsheim, 30 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great grand-children. Cecilia is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandchild Connie Jungers, great-grandchildren Tyler Laubenstein and Dakota Harder. Also preceded in death by one brother, four brothers-in-laws, one sister, and four sisters-in-laws.

She was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church and enjoyed the visits from Pastor Schaser and Visitation Team.

A Funeral Service for Cecilia will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 16th at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church (623 Congress Street, Newburg, WI 53060). A visitation will be held on Sunday at the church from 1:00pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cecilia’s name are appreciated to St. John’s Renovation, St. John’s Lutheran Church, (623 Congress Street, Newburg WI 53060) or to Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School (3399 Division Road, Jackson WI, 53037).
