Chuck was a lover of nature, animals, and even to his last days, had a curiosity and a desire to learn that was not stunted by his many health issues. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and “goofy” grandpa to his four grandchildren.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Geri; children Sarah (Wayne) Smith, Sun Prairie, WI, and Jason (Haylea) Jackson, Brookfield, WI; grandchildren Kendra Jackson, Marchello Johnson, Crosby and Jude Jackson; brother John (Nancy) Jackson and sister-in-law Helen Jackson. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends Harold Paul, John Gent and Russ Furumasu. As was his request, his dog “Lily” has found a good home with Kendra and Marchello.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Jackson.

There will be a Memorial Service for Chuck on Saturday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI with Rev. Jenny Arneson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. A private interment ceremony will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, WI.

Memorials are appreciated to Mayo Clinic, for Cardiovascular Research, and the Ronald McDonald House.

A special thank you to Dr. Daniel D. Borgeson, Mayo Clinic, for his medical brilliance and his friendship over the past nine years. Also, thank you to Dr. Mahmoud Kamel, nephrologist at Aurora Medical Group, for his empathy and compassion in treating Chuck during the past seven months.
