Daniel Konecke, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 19, 2023, at his Florida home in Vero Beach. He was born on May 22, 1959, in Milwaukee, WI.

Dan owned a scuba diving business in Florida. He was a certified instructor and taught many students to scuba dive and to enjoy the sport. Dan was very proud of his accomplishment of completing seven marathons. He loved reading and learning. Dan was a kind man who you could always rely on. He was generous with his time whether it be a listening ear, words of encouragement, or dropping everything in his own life to offer help and support.

Dan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue; and his beloved dogs, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends.

Dan is preceded in death by parents.

A Funeral Service will be at 12:00PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor John C. Bass presiding. Gathering of friends and family will be prior at the funeral home on Friday, May 26th from 11:00A until 11:45AM. Interment will immediately follow the service at Washington County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the local humane society.
