Obituary for David B. "Suavy" Frank

David B Frank, 62, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at home.

Dave was born on September 13, 1961 in Milwaukee, WI to Charles and Mary Ann (Temmer) Frank. He attended local West Bend schools and received an associates degree from Lakeshore Technical College. Dave was an entrepreneur and worked many printing job before running his own family business, Midstar Printing Inc. in Plymouth, WI until 2016. He then decided to join Torginol, where he was the Specialty Product Manager and one of the leaders in the company.

Dave had many nicknames, but most knew him as Suavy. Dave loved all sports, playing rugby and softball and coaching his daughters in basketball. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and going to the cabin in Shawano with Julie & Roger. His Street Glide Harley Davidson Motorcycle was his pride and joy, next to his children. Most of all, Dave loved to be with the ones he loved, family, friends, coworkers, and old school buds.

Dave is survived by his longtime companion and best friend, Jeanine Hemb; children Zachary (fiancee Camille) Frank, Courtney (Zack) Seitz, Alanah Frank, Kendall Frank, and their mom, Lisa Gundlach; Jeanine's children Benjamin Hemb and Sarah (Nick) Schmitz, and their father; grandchildren Hazel Seitz, and Elizabeth and Lucas Schmitz; siblings Julie (Roger) Winkler, and Eric (Didi Laila) Frank; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and “special” cousin Laurie Frank.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, from 11:00AM until 12:45PM, with a Memorial Service at 1:00PM, at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI 53095.

The family asks that you wear a favorite “Dave” shirt, Harley Davidson or Torginol shirt, or whatever reminds you of him.
