David “Dave” A. Kumrow, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at his home in West Bend. He was born on January 14, 1941 to Arnold and Fern (nee Crass) Kumrow. He married Mary (nee Laughrin) on January 7, 1961at Holy Trinity in Newburg. He was employed currently with Johnson School Bus Company. Dave enjoyed sporting events, cutting grass and sitting by the pond. He especially loved spending time with his family and driving the kids on the bus.

Dave is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; children, Christina Ludowissi, Peggy (Mark) Justman, Caroline (Scott) Wollner, John and Jennifer Schmitt; grandchildren, William (Kayla), Daniel, Zachary (Gina), Raymond (Lauren), Joseph, Theodore, Jonathan (Katie), Alec (Amy), Gretta, Riley, Delaney, Emma and Owen; 9 great-grandchildren, Liam, Addisyn, Charlie, Weston, Isabella, Rhett, Myles, Elliana and Claire; sisters, Janice (Joe) Harter, Barb (Chuck) Stehlik and Joanne (Dennis) Rank; brother-in-law Dennis (Barb) Laughrin and sister-in-law Linda (Jay) Uler.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Tomko, father-in-law Harlow “Red” and mother-in-law Dorothy Laughrin and son-in-law Joe Schmitt.

A Celebration of Life will be August 24, 2019 from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at the Kewaskum Town Hall (9019 Kettle Moraine Dr. Kewaskum, WI 53040).

Mary and family, Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. Dave was such a wonderful person and always so much fun to be around. Jim and I always had a wonderful time having a beer with you both. We will miss Dave so much.
