Diane Kay Chartrand/Lighthizer (nee Nadler) “Mama Di” “Ma”, age 71, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend. She was born on June 8, 1947 in Eau Claire, WI to George and Della (nee Welke) Nadler.

Diane is survived by her children, Lori (Art Willer) Lighthizer, Kellie Lighthizer, William (Deb) Chartrand, Cindy (Jean) Chartrand, Tina (Tim) Tibbits, April Chartrand; grandsons, Michael Collins, Paul and David Chartrand, Zackery Smiley; granddaughters, Kaytie Lighthizer, Karie (JD) Broderick, Kay Zimmerman, Crystal and Carla Kobus; 6 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Mike (Kenn) Chartrand; sister-in-law, Myrna Chartrand. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, her lifetime friend through thick and thin Sue Bradison and several other special friends that called her “Ma”.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband, David B. Chartrand, her parents, her sister Joan Becker and her brother David Nadler.

A Celebration of Life will be at 6:00PM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, November 30th from 3:00PM until 5:45PM. Interment will be a later date at the family plot in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Cleghorn, WI.

She has battled health conditions over the years. Fought a good fight with all she had and is now resting in peace.
