Obituary for Edgar Ben Schwartz Sr.
Edgar B. Schwartz Sr., age 90 years, passed away Wednesday December 4, 2019
in Slinger. He was born on September 9, 1929 in Nenno, WI to Joseph and Agnes (nee Schmidt) Schwartz. He graduated from Nenno Tech. Edgar married Louise Sterr on September 7, 1963 and they began their family. He was an incredible family man, always had a smile on his face, and would laugh so hard at his own jokes that he couldn’t finish them. He was a passionate farmer who loved his land and the animals he raised. He also loved fishing, playing sheepshead and occasionally feeding the slot machines. Edgar left an indelible impression with everyone he met. He was a member of St Lawrence Parish.
Edgar is survived by his wife Louise “Weezie/Tudy”, sons Ed Schwartz Jr.(Rui) and Tim Schwartz, granddaughter Yihan Schwartz, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Herbie and Wally and his sister Rosella.
Funeral Services for Edgar will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday December 15th at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr West bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 12:00pm until 1:45pm. Final place of rest will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
