Obituary for Frederick Wayne "Fred" Lehto
Frederick “Fred” Wayne Lehto, age 91, sadly left us on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born in Milwaukee on June 23, 1932 to Fritz and Catherine (nee Pikus) Lehto. Fred enjoyed the view of his wooded backyard, gun making, hunting, fishing and organizing famous paella parties for family and friends.
Fred is survived by his 4 children, Paula Lehto, Elizabeth (Mark) Straub, Elaine Greenwood and Jim (Silvia) Lehto; Grandchildren, Jessica Maly, Michael Greenwood, Lindsey Greenwood, Nathan Lehto, Nicole Lehto, William (Katelyn) Lehto and Anthony Straub; Great-grandchildren, Dominic, Dylan, Dexter and Dion Greenwood, Noah and Dean Lehto. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and his dear friend Marilyn Daniel.
Fred is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Lehto (Malone), his son Michael Lehto (Donna) and his sister Barbara Gosh (Bernard).
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor at 6:00PM on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor John Bass presiding. A visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, April 12th from 4:00 PM until 5:45 PM.
