Obituary for Fredrick Albert "Rick" Kazmierski
Fredrick Albert Kazmierski “Rick” age 75 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
Rick was born on April 30, 1947, the son of the late Albert and Louise (Nee Siemers) Kazmierski in Milwaukee. Graduated from Muskego High School. He married Micheline Rose “Mickey” Kazmierski (nee Pollack), on May 8, 1971. Rick worked for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, having retired as Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. Rick was a true adventurer and a wilderness voyageur. He was a philosopher who had a passion for science and astronomy. Rick enjoyed hobbies such as astrophotography, camping, woodworking, bowling, and the performing arts. Most of all, Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Rick was a gentle and kind soul who enjoyed life to the fullest.
Rick is survived by his children Jason (Lea) Kazmierski and Mariah (Stephan) Tremblay; grandchildren Nicholas (Taylor), Jaime, and Samantha; siblings Susan Kazmierski, Debbie Marchewka, and Mark Kazmierski. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mickey, and siblings James and Joan. Rick will be missed by Rigel, his Golden Doodle, who was always at his side.
A visitation will be on Sat., Nov. 12, 2022, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend, from 1:00PM until 2:45PM, with a Memorial Service at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Northern Cross Science Foundation, 6219 Jay Street, West Bend, WI 53095.
