Obituary for Gary Frank Dippel

Gary Frank Dippel of Almond, WI at the age of 81 died November 11th, 2019 at Ellen’s Home South Assisted Living, Germantown, WI. Gary was born September 4, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI. Gary grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Rufus King High School. He then joined the Navy Reserves and two years active duty. He was honorably discharged April 1959. He married Marcia (Jansen) Dippel March 29, 1958. They have three children, Keith, Ken and Leeann. He trained to be a sheet metal worker and worked in heating and air conditioning until he retired in July 1999. Gary then moved to his property in Portage County where he completed building his home and workshop. He was a member of Alcohol Anonymous and was sober for 29 years, was an avid bowler receiving two 300 games in his lifetime. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, golfing and horseshoes.

Proceeded in death by Grand Parents: Frank Herman Dippel Sr., Ernst and Martha Keller, Parents: Frank Herman Dippel Jr., Helene Martha Dippel, Aunts and Uncles: Horst Keller, Bernice Keller, Martin Keller, and Rosemary Keller.

Survived by Brother: Donald Dippel, Mother of children: Marcia Dippel, Children: Keith Dippel, Ken (Coleen) Dippel, and Leeann (Michael) Verhaalen. Grandchildren: Kristina (Harry) Winterfeldt, Kyle Dippel, Trista (Dane) Willet, Tyler Dippel, Tara (Neil) Blank, Troy (Lauren) Salazar, Nicholas Verhaalen, Kelly Verhaalen, Jonathan Verhaalen, Olivia Verhaalen. Great Grandchildren: Alexandria Winterfeldt, Harry William Winterfeldt III, Gabrielle Winterfeldt, Ethan Willet, Hayden Blank, Jailyn Blank, Arianna Salazar.

Further survived by: Niece Kristi (Garner) Gerson, Nephews: Daniel (Hilda) Dippel, Michael (Victoria) Dippel, Joshua (Ashley) Dippel, other relatives and dear friends: Peggy, Kelly, Tanya, Madyson, Cathy and Sharon Dippel.
