Obituary for Gene K. Graff
Gene K. Graff, age 93 years Lifelong resident of Jackson, WI, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023. He is the son of the late Harvey and Clara (nee Richter) Graff. Gene married Marcella “Marcy” H. Graff (nee Bublitz) on April 29, 1950, at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church of Jackson. Gene enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard, and spending time with family. He was a self-made man. Gene started his masonry company with a pickup truck and a wheelbarrow; he was always admired for his work ethic. Gene took pride in a job well done. In his later years his home on Cedar Creek Rd. became his favorite place to be.
Gene is survived by his children Douglas (Deb Ahrens) Graff, Shelly (Garry) Basing, Peggy (James) Cavender, Lori Strauss, and Chad (Wendy) Graff. He is further survived by 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcy; daughter Chris (Ron) Rose; daughter-in-law Kathy Graff; sons-in-law Jeff Koshakow and Wayne Strauss; and 5 siblings.
The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 5:30PM at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church (2750 David’s Star Dr., Jackson) with Rev. Michael A. Woldt and Rev. Kurt Loescher presiding. Visitation will be at the CHURCH ONLY from 4:00PM until 5:15PM. The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church.
