Henry R. Wenzel
Passed peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023, at the age of 95. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Roland H. and Sophie M. (nee Kowalczyk) Wenzel. Henry was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving in WWII, and was a retired City of Milwaukee Police Officer, serving 25 years. Henry married Ruby F. Okvist on December 26, 1953.
He is survived by his daughters Barbara (James) Michaels, and Kathleen Wenzel; grandchildren Gina (Brian) Peterson, and Tonie Michaels; great-grandchildren Lily and Ada Peterson. He is further survived by his brother Robert J. (Carol) Wenzel; niece Christine Fults; nephew John Wenzel; other relatives and friends. Henry was preceded in death by his parents and wife Ruby F. Wenzel.
Private services are being held.
