Obituary for Herbert Kenneth Kyler Jr.
Herbert Kenneth Kyler Jr., age 84, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at his home in Allenton. He was born on March 17, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Herbert and Hazel (nee Yanke) Kyler. Herbert enjoyed building balsa wood airplanes, spending time with his grandchildren, and family get togethers playing cards.
Herbert is survived by his 3 sons, James (Jodi), Steven (special friend Amy Kinner), Cubby (Melinda); grandchildren, Steven Jr. (special friend Mckayla), Amanda Kusko, Nathan Dunn, Nick (Saria) Dunn, Jennifer (Chris) Heppner, Tyler (Sara) Henthorn; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Sandra Arndt, Sherry (Bill) Spencer, Allen (Mari), Debbie (Tom) Boyle and brother-in-law, Phillip (Linda) Yanke. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Herbert is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (nee Janke), his son Scott; his parents, two sisters and three brother in laws, Patricia (Charles Mayer), Judith and (Richard Schaper) and Julius Arndt (Judd).
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor John C. Bass presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, March 16th from 11:00AM until 12:45PM. Following the service, Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park with full Military Honors.
