Obituary for Ival William Kleinke

Ival William Kleinke

Passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the age of 80, surrounded by his family. He was raised in Beechwood, WI, the son of the late Fredrick and LaVerne Kleinke. They moved to West Bend when Ival was in high school. After high school he joined the United States Army and serviced for three years, where he learned his trade, leading him to Serigraph. Ival worked at Serigraph for 40 years, starting as a Photo Lab Technician and doing many other jobs. He volunteered for the Fire Brigade and was part of the Hazardous Waste Committee there. Ival married the love of his life Sharon Schlosser on June 25, 1966.

He had many interests including playing softball, roller & ice skating, hunting, fishing, dancing, music, camping, swimming, and taking care of their pool, volleyball, archery; running the kids archery league, bowling; he was team captain for years. He bowled for and raised at least $55,000 for Big Brothers & Big Sisters over 25 years; also enjoyed taking care of his yard. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Ival is survived by his wife Sharon Kleinke of 57 years; children Lori (Douglas) Dolge, and Christi (Bradley) Dorn; grandchildren Joshua (Andrea) Dolge, Heather (Jake) Hall, Ryan Dolge, and Jordan Bell; great-grandchildren Landon and Ainsley Dolge. He is further survived by siblings Fredrick (Lynn), Dennis (Sue), and Russell (Lynn)Kleinke; sister-in-law Dorothy Kleinke. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother Eugene.

A private Military Honors Service will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI at a later date.

A very special thank you to Jess and AJ at Hope After Hardship, the adult group Home he resided in. Also, the wonderful staff at Lawlis Family Hospice, where he spent his final days.
