Obituary for James Alan Boswell
James Alan Boswell passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Clement J. Zablocki Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI at the age of 75 years old after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Jim was born on January 23, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI to Ralph and Virginia Boswell. Jim married his wife Marcia Soldner on July 28, 1979. Jim is survived by his wife Marcia Boswell of West Bend, his children Allison Boswell of West Bend and Kevin Boswell of Peyton, CO and his brother David Boswell of Sheboygan and other family and friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Virginia Boswell and parents in-law Ervin and Helen Soldner.
Jim enjoyed outdoor activities including skiing, boating and attending Brewers’ games with Marcia. Jim also enjoyed watching his Packers and races at Road America as well as going on Zippin Pippin at Bay Beach with Juliana and Jasmine.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy and was very proud to have been chosen to go on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in 2022. Jim was a member of the Fohl Martin American Legion Post 483 in Allenton, WI.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held later this summer.
