Obituary for Janice Marie "Jan" Mularkey (Susami)
Janice Marie Mularkey (nee Susami), age 68, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at The Kathy Hospice with family by her side. She was born on September 18, 1955 to Fredrick and Ruby (nee Peterson).
She worked for more than 20 years at the West Bend Clinic (later Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin) as a Patient Service Representative. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling them on holidays (with Christmas being favorite holiday), spending time tending to her plants and flowers in the nice weather, trying new restaurants, and traveling (especially to Disney World).
Janice is survived by her husband of 49 years, Steven; three children: Shaun (Shannon) Mularkey, Sherry Chapelle, Michelle (Jeff) Doebert; six grandchildren: Ashley, Steven, Cullen, Edie, Samuel and Gabrielle; siblings: Fredrick, Carol, Robert, Richard and Larry. She is further survived by niece Cheryl Little, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be on Tuesday, March 12 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Entombment will be at Washington County Memorial Park.
The family extends their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend for their heartfelt kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Kathy Hospice (Horizon) would be appreciated.
