Obituary for Jeanne Marie Rivard (Rivard)

Jeanne Marie Rivard, of Chicago, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 17, 2019 in Chicago, IL. at the age of 57 years.

She was born on November 16, 1961 in Ashland to Edward F. and Alice (nee Dick) Rivard. Jeanne was a graduate of Menomonee Falls High School Class of 1979 and Class of 1983 graduate of Mount Mary College in Interior Design. She was employed as an Account Executive at Forward Space, in Chicago, IL.

Jeanne is survived by her mother Alice, siblings; Edward (Donna), James (Michelle) and Rosanne (Thomas) Nosacek, God Mother of Jacob, Tyler, Jamie and David Rivard, Evan Nosacek, Alexandra Wetzel, and Ashley Putnam-Murry, loving Aunt of; Jacob, Luke, and Eric Rivard, Ben, Tyler, Nick, Jamie, Michael, David, John Paul, Joe, Augustine, Regina Rivard, Evan, Eli, Brea, Rebekah and Isaac Nosacek. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father Edward and nephews Samuel and Simon Nosacek.

Being a constant companion to her mom and dad throughout her life, Jeanne had an incredible love for family. No matter what, she was always there for them with following through with whatever was needed.

She lived her Catholic Faith through her true vocation which was “Love of Neighbor”, a gift she fervently practiced.

She had a most generous heart with her gift of hospitality and an ardent love of making Christmas cookies. She took joy in seeing others happy.

With a child-like spirit she had a jovial laugh and enjoyed singing, was a voracious reader, and loved simply visiting, making you the center of attention. She loved her dog, Bingo, as if it were her only child, though her God-children were the really special ones in her life. She would treat them each to a special trip upon their graduation from 8th grade.

Being an interior designer was another love of hers as she worked tirelessly seeking to bless those she worked for along with never failing to provide input to her family with home design thoughts.
Rest in peace dear Jeanne, you will surely be missed.
