Obituary for Jeannette O. Cardarelle (Mintzlaff)
Jeannette O. Cardarelle (nee Mintzlaff) age 84, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Froedtert Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1935 in Burnett, WI to Erwin and Leona (nee Maaske) Mintzlaff. She married the late Donald G. Cardarelle on March 10, 1956 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend. Her passion sewing and quilting. She enjoyed teaching Catechism and being part of the Ladies Aide at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church. Jeannette loved traveling out west, raising her 7 children and being a homemaker.
Jeannette is survived by her children, Deborah (Michael) Reindl, Cheryl (Jerome) Eberhardt, Randal (Donna), Robert (Patti), William, Gary (Jody); grandchildren, Becky (Noah) Luckish, Christina (Brandon) Faber, Stephanie (fiancé Jake), Samantha, Maranda, Claire (Tyler) Braszington, and Justin Cardarelle, Vince (Alyssa), Jared (Carly), Luke Reindl; siblings-in-law, Ardell (Eunice) and Melvin (Lucille) Cardarelle, Janel Wiesner and Dennis (Janette) Cardarelle. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, her son James, twin sister Jane (Ronald) Chapman.
A Funeral Service will be at 4:00PM on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th Ave., West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor David Kellerman presiding. Visitation will be at church on Sunday, March 10 from 2:00PM until 3:45PM. Interment will be at 9:00AM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Washington County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church/Ladies Aid (809 S. 6th Ave., West Bend, WI 53095).
