Obituary for Jerome H. Schuetz

Jerome Henry Schuetz, age 84 of rural Jackson, Wisconsin passed away on May 15, 2024, lovingly surrounded by his family. Born on February 14, 1940, in Jackson, Wisconsin, Jerome was the youngest of four siblings: Richard, Carita, Marion, and Jerome, born to John and Magdalin (Lang) Schuetz. He spent his formative years on the family farm in Jackson. Jerry graduated from Slinger High School in 1959 and served inactive duty in the Army Reserves for 5 ½ years. On May 19, 1962, he married Betty A. Shulka, with whom he had four children. He devoted many years to working as a block truck driver at Bend Industries. Apart from his professional life, Jerome was a passionate hobby farmer. He had a deep love for antique tractors, as well as for Nascar, the Brewers, Packers, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his former wife Betty Clement and their four children Doug (Dena) Schuetz, Pam (Sam Hoffmann), Dan (Wendy) Schuetz, and Paula (Tom) Parker. He is also survived by his three siblings: Richard (Dorothy) Schuetz, Carita Schumacher & Marion (Owen) Schickert, his grandchildren Nicole (& Shaun) Conley, Christy (Philip) Diffley, Christopher (Marissa) Schuetz, Mitchell Parker, Brandan Schuetz, Bailey Schuetz, Brandt Parker, Dawson Schuetz, Evan Kaye, Noah Kaye, Jackson Schuetz & Tyler Schuetz and his 5 great grandchildren Westin, Miles, Tucker, and Kaleb Conley, and Liliana Diffley. Preceded in death by Parents: John (father) Magdalin (mother) Schuetz, Gordan Schumacher(brother-in-law) Rita Schuetz (sister-in-law), Emil Shulka (father-in-law), Myrtle (mother-in-law). A private graveside service is being planned by the family. A celebration of life is also being planned for later this summer.
