"Kathy"

Passed peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born in Elcho, WI, the daughter of Stanley and Lorraine (Nee Baade) Ruszczyk. Kathy attended Elcho High School. She worked for 44 years at Tecumseh Power Products. Kathy could always make people smile, and she loved her family. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing cards, bingo, and travel; which in the later years going for a car ride when the trees were green was good enough. Kathy was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford since 2019.
Kathy is lovingly survived by her children, Janet (Tim) Holk, and Karen (Mark) Schmitt; grandchildren, Tim and Russell Holk, Kayla (Nate) Smith, Brianna (Mike) Quinn, and Zachary Schmitt. She is further survived by her brother Tom (Judy) Rustick, other relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant brother Andrew.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 12:00PM until 12:45PM with the Funeral Service at 1:00PM at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI 53095. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your local Humane Society in Kathy's name would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Froedtert West Bend Hospital, the Gardens of Hartford, and Dr. Smale, for the compassion and care they showed to Kathy.
