Obituary for Larry A. Fideler

Larry Fideler of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, age 77, passed peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Kettle Moraine Gardens Assisted Living surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born on February 21, 1946, in Delmont, South Dakota. He is the son of the late Arthur (Art) and Lydia (nee Hochhalter) Fideler. He was raised in Delmont, South Dakota, and graduated from Delmont Public School.

Larry married the love of his life, Virginia (nee Braemer) Fideler, on June 10, 1972, at St John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend. Larry worked at the West Bend Company for 38 years. Larry also started and ran his pride and joy, “The Fideler Farm” produce farm for over 40 years, growing strawberries, raspberries and many other types of fresh produce. Time spent working the fields, tilling the soil and taking care of his plants was his true passion. Most of all Larry loved spending time with his family, vacationing quite often to Florida and many other places that meant a lot to him. He will be missed greatly by all.

Larry is survived by Virginia, his wife of 51 years; children Wendy (Dan) Schuetz, Shawn (Jolene) Fideler and Jason (Nicole) Fideler; grandchildren, Brianna (Taylor Jeche), Makayla, Hayden and Hailey Fideler, Brandan, Bailey and Dawson Schuetz, Eliana and Alexia Fideler, and Step Grandson Shaun Beisbier. He is further survived by his brother Jim (Linda) Fideler of Campbellsport, sister Deanna (Ed) Nolz, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Joann Maniaci, and brothers Arthur (Darryl) Fideler and Robert (Bob) Fideler.
