Obituary for Lorraine L. Puestow (Frey)
Lorraine L. Puestow (nee Frey), age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Cedar Community in West Bend. She was born on March 20, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI to John and Alvina (nee Ulrich) Frey. She enjoyed working over 35 years for the Oster Company. She loved fishing, bird watching, gardening, flowers and playing Sheepshead. Lorraine made the best blackberry pie and rhubarb kuchen. She adored spending time with her grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter Rita (Robert) Bruss; granddaughter, Renee (Mike) Knoeck; Grandson, Todd (Nancy) Bruss; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren with another girl coming in October; goddaughter, Lorrie Frey; sisters-in-law Mildred Frey, Arlene Foell and Patricia Puestow, brothers-in-law, Ralph (Patricia) Puestow and Gene (Patricia) Puestow. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William “Bill” Puestow, brothers Lawrence (Marion) Frey and Donald Frey, in-laws Norma (Marion) Wollums, Jack Foell and Mike Puestow.
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00PM on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (799 St. Paul Dr., Slinger) with Pastor Benjamin Golisch presiding. Visitation will be at church from 12:00PM until the 12:45PM. Entombment to follow at Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials appreciated to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (799 St. Paul Dr. Slinger, WI 53086).
