Obituary for Lorrie J Shirley

Lorrie J. Shirley (nee Stoffel), age 61 years, passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2019. She was born on July 1, 1958 to Clifford and Marlene (nee Tesker) Stoffel in West Bend.

She graduated from West Bend West High School, class of 1976. She married her high school sweetheart and had a son, Austin Baye. Lorrie was in the screen printing field for 20 years and was the print manager for SPS Screen Printing. Lorrie was an entrepreneur and was the owner/operator for Lorrie’s Floral Design and Interior Decorating in Kewaskum for over 7 years. While she was still operating the business, she started another business called L.S. Cleaning. She was extremely active and lived with a fishing rod in her hand. Lorrie loved playing horseshoes, attending sports including the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers games. She was the one who organized the trips to the games and you could hear her cheering over the crowd. She enjoyed taking walks along the river with her son, Austin Baye. Lorrie was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed creating her own clothing. She was a designer not only in the floral and interior areas, but would express her creativity in many ways from her look, her choice of style, the vehicle she drove, her hats and sunglasses. Lorrie had a wow factor when she walked into a room.

Lorrie is survived by her son Austin Baye (Andrina), grandchildren Bryce and Alexa.
She is further survived by her mother Marlene Boegel, siblings Shelley Stoffel, Sherry Lentz, Brian (Caryn) Boegel, Jo (Mark) Gassner, nieces and nephews Kyle (Tiffany) Baier, Wade (Ashley) Baier, Sean (Jessica) Lentz, Shannon (Nolan) Yonkman, Isabelle Boegel, Bennet and Bronte Gassner, best friend Greg Prellwitz; other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her father Clifford and step-father Lambert “Kliner” Boegel.
