Obituary for Margo E. "Marty" Semon

Margo (Marty) Elaine Semon, 78, of West Bend, Wisconsin, died at Froedtert Hospital on March 2, 2021. She was born December 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Margaret Emma and Roy Charles Semon. She graduated from high school in Zion, Illinois. Then she received her teaching degree from Eastern Illinois University and later received her master's degree. She had a varied teaching career. She taught in 2 high schools in northern Illinois, Native American schools in Arizona, and then came back to the Midwest to teach in Wisconsin at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson from 1977-2006. While teaching there, she coached girls' volleyball, basketball, and track. She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan much to the chagrin of her many friends. She loved traveling. She was the chairperson of the Ladies League at her church.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 17 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, West Bend, Wisconsin. Marty is survived by her brother Rock (Barbara) Semon in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; her sister Jackie (Edward) Blair in Levittown, New York; and her sister Kathleen (Wiley) Jones in Wewoka, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews and friends, especially the Domino Gang.
