Obituary for Margueritte B. "Margie" Boglitsch (Ladwig)

Margueritte “Margie” Bernadette Ladwig Boglitsch passed away peacefully due to complications from a stroke on April 3rd, 2019. She was born on June 30th, 1935 to William and Rose (nee Nadolski) Ladwig in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She married Joseph Boglitsch on March 31st, 1961. Margie was an amazing mother, wife, friend, cardgiver, and woman to everyone she met. She was always available for a hug, laugh, or just hand holding.

She is survived and missed by her children Joseph, Carol (the late Keith) Grams, Carla (Steve) Varisco, and Kathleen (Dan) Boglitsch-Collins; Grandchildren Steven Varisco Jr., Amanda (Ian) Fournier, Kyle and Kristopher Grams and Maggie Collins; Great-grandson Madden Fournier.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, brothers Raymond and Orrin, and parents-in-laws.

A committal service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery Saturday, May 4th at 11:00 AM (6400 W Burleigh Street, Milwaukee, WI). Margie’s family will be hosting a birthday bash in her honor June 30th.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to her daughter Carla Varisco (440A N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53090).

The family would like to thank Froedert Hospital and The Kathy Hospice for the wonderful care and dignity shown for our mother.

Remember the good times, don’t cry for me. Mom, you will be missed, but we will always remember- Polish girls don’t cry!
