Of West Bend passed peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at the age of 56 after fighting a long hard battle with cancer. She was born in Santiago Papasquiaro Dgo, Mexico, the daughter of Jesus and Isabel Salazar. Maria was raised by her grandparents Paula and Francisco Sanchez. She came to the United States at the age of 24, to be with her husband Felipe J. Barboza.

Maria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she loved to cook, shop and camp with her family. Maria dedicated her life to being a wonderful and amazing mother.

Maria will be lovingly remembered by her childhood sweetheart Felipe of 39 years; children Edgar I. Barboza, Blanca (Alfredo) Guzman, Irving Barboza, and Kahori (Apolinar) Bautista; grandchildren Braelum, Draeton, Delanie, Kianie, Kloee, Sarabi, and Aitana. She is further survived by siblings Ramona, Lucero, Rocio, Malio, Luis, Elvia, and Epifanio, and her four legged fur babies Toby & Poochie. Maria was preceded in death by her parents and brother Armando.

Private services will be held.
