Obituary for Mary Ann Rita Puls
Mary Ann Rita Puls, age 64, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Froedtert in West Bend. She was born on November 30, 1959, to Earl and Marion (nee Fries) Puls. Mary Ann worked for Signicast in Hartford, WI, for 12 years.
Mary Ann enjoyed hosting parties for her family and friends. She found joy in gathering those she loved and feeding them her delicious food and desserts. Mary Ann was proud of her children and grandchildren and spoke of them often. Her longtime hobbies included bowling, pool, NASCAR racing, and traveling. Mary Ann and her longtime partner Rick and friends had a wonderful trip to Jamacia. Additionally, she visited Phoenix Raceway with her son and daughter-in-law this past year. She was holding the memories of both trips dearly in her heart. One of Mary Ann’s favorite things to do was sit with a gallon of ice cream while watching her daily soap operas. Mary Ann was sweet, loving, and thoughtful. Her most admirable trait is her immeasurable strength. Her strength is an inspiration to her family and friends. Mary Ann’s light shined in all she did, bringing much joy to others.
Mary Ann is survived by her children Janelle Lisko (Lee Phillip), Mike (Samantha) Freitag, Brandon Bamke (Derek Holtz); grandchildren Kody (Toni), Kelsey, Kenna Lisko and Cheyenne and Austin Freitag; brother Daniel (Karen) Puls, sister Marlene Lehmann, sister Debbie (John) Bamke; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive her.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, partner Rick Bamke, brother Earl Puls, brother-in-law Dale Lehman, daughter Jennifer Freitag, and son-in-law Jason Lisko.
A Celebration of Mary Ann’s Life will be held later in the year. In lieu of flowers, please light a candle in her memory.
