Obituary for Mavis Marie Winebrenner (Rose)

Mavis M. Winebrenner (nee Rose), age 83 years of Hartford, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Veteran’s Home in King, WI with her family at her side.

Mavis was born on November 5, 1930 in La Crosse to William and Lena (nee Christ) Rose Sr.. The family moved to Milwaukee where she graduated from Girl’s Tech. Mavis married Ralph A. Winebrenner in Waukegan, Il on May 27, 1967. She worked at Globe Union and Koss Electronics. She was the sweetest, best mom and grandma and she loved her family so much. She will be greatly missed by all. Mavis was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hartford.

Mavis is survived by her husband Ralph, sons John (Mary) DeLuca and Andy Winebrenner, daughter Judy Gambino. She is further survived by her grandchildren Tina (John) Munch, Chuckie Gambino, Keri (Adam) Clavette, Danny DeLuca, Christy (Mike) Gest and Rhodes Winebrenner, great-grandchildren Zach and Joe Munch, Gwyneth and Charlie Gambino III, Troy and Sara Clavette, Brady and Kensington Gest, in-laws Janet Rose, Bob (Jeanne) Heusch, Karla (Tom) Walters, God child Janica Carpenter, loving cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Donna (Ed) Peppler, brothers Bill (Donna) Rose and Jim Rose, son-in-law Chuck Gambino and god son Mike Mrstik, Sr.

A Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, March 17 from 9:30 am until time of service (12:00pm). Memorials are appreciated to the family.
