Obituary for Muriel Ann Cupery (Cupery)
Muriel Ann Cupery, age 87, ended her life’s journey peacefully on earth on April 9, 2021 in West Bend, WI, surrounded by family.
Muriel was born on March 16, 1934 in Columbia County to John and Mae Cupery and raised in Friesland, WI. Muriel, the youngest of seven children, and was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Charles (Plona) Cupery, Sam (Ann) Cupery, Edna (Nick) Halbersma, Robert (Johanna) Cupery, Effie (Russ) Harris, and Ann (Gus) Kuring. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, and many dear friends that always brought her joy. The family extends a special thank you to the kind care given to her by her niece, Debbie Kuring, of West Bend, WI, where Muriel lived the past four years.
Muriel lived in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area for many, many years and truly enjoyed the Florida sunshine and sandy beaches. Muriel worked in the hospitality business for many years and was a trained hypnotist, who loved traveling, reading, and visiting family. She was a fun person who loved new adventures, always keeping the family wondering what was next. She will be missed.
In lieu of a service, a private family gathering will be held to honor her life.
