Perry James Paul, age 61, of West Bend, Wisconsin met his heavenly father on December 15, 2019. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 23, 1958, the son of Allen and Rosemary (née Spence) Paul.

He is survived by his mother Rose Paul, son Peter (Emma) Giove, siblings Allen (Laurie), Mary (Tom) Stodola, Mickey, Tom (Diana) and Joan Paul. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and a grandson Rocco Giove.

Perry was an avid wrestler in high school. He was an excellent artist; in fact, he received a scholarship for art. Perry enjoyed being part of the family business-he was a carpenter with his brothers and dad. He was a fine craftsman of the trade. Perry loved animals and fishing. He really enjoyed spending time with his family.

Perry never stopped trusting in his Savior, and the love of God shown through him as he always had a kind word for everyone. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. “

A Memorial Service will be at 3:00PM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, December 26th from 2:00PM until 2:45PM.

We would like to thank Edenbrook of Fond du Lac and Kathy’s Hospice for their outstanding care.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations towards funeral expenses.

I have a ton of stories about my older brother Perry that will follow in time, But first I just want to say that My family and I were very fortunate to get Perry back to West Bend at Kathy Hospice where we were able to visit and see him there more regularly and his being under amazing care by extraordinary caring people. I am thankful for that, Perry always had a strong faith and knew when his time was coming and was prepared to meet the Lord. Best of all- he was able to communicate his final wishes and that was to have all his family around him. it happened! We were all there ; mom, ALL brothers, sisters, their spouses, and his son. It was a beautiful Sunday morning with the sun shining and at least 100 birds right outside the window. We were able to read some bible verses to Perry just before and then had "Amazing Grace" song playing as he passed. It was peaceful and a blessing that he was no longer in pain. Shortly after I turned toward the window and saw that all the birds were gone. I said I think the birds just flew his soul up to Heaven and all the birds returned 10 minutes later!
Good Bye Perry,
Love Ya -Mick RIP
