Ralph R. Baumgartner, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 21, 2019. He was born on November 8, 1927 in Waukesha to Earl and Florence (nee Drydyk). Ralph proudly served in the Navy on the ship USS Wyandot from 1945 to 1948. He was united in marriage to Ruth Stark on July 16, 1949. Ralph retired after 30 plus years at Wisconsin Electric Company. He was an active member of Immanuel UCC Church for over 50 years. Ralph enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and playing horseshoe. He was a loving husband and father and he will be remembered for his delightful sense of humor.

Ralph is survived by his 3 children: Cynthia Steiner, Claudia (Russell) Pichler and Steven. He is further survived by his grandchildren Patrick (Sarah) Cressey, Angela (Joe) Fladwood, Heather (Todd) Bushkie, Ryan Pichler, Brock (Sarah) Baumgartner, RJ (Sophie) Steiner, Cody (Virginia) Steiner, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers Dean (Patricia), Dennie (Elaine), Marty (Glenice), nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth, brothers Glenn, Jerry and Neil, son-in-law Russ Steiner and two grandchildren Amber and Kent.
A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend (1420 W Paradise Dr) with Pastor Rich Vincent presiding. Interment will be at Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, March1 from 3:00 pm until time of service at 5:00.
