Roger John Kraemer, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, At the Compassionate Heights Assisted Living home, with his loving wife by his side.
Roger was born on January 21, 1958 to the late Ken and Sharon (Macks) Kraemer in Port Washington, WI. He grew up in Waubeka and attended Ozaukee High School. Roger spent much of young adult life farming and building silos. He eventually settled in a career at Pace Industries where he remained for 30+ years. Roger was blessed with a large and loving family. He met his wife to be, Marge Koenitzer, in 2000, spending the next 14 years together before marrying on March 7, 2014. Roger had many hobbies over the years including camping and driving around on his tractor. Everyday was a new adventure for him. Nothing gave him more joy in his life than to spend time with family, especially his many grandchiidren. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Roger is survived by his wife, Marge; sons Van (Karey) Kraemer, Adam (Christina) Kraemer; daughter Erin (Tim) Tennessen; step-children, Bill Welch, Eva Welch, Sarah Rudzinski, and Kurt (Becky) Koenitzer; his many grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Adam Jr., Kelsey, Aiden, Hendrix, Cameron, Kloie, Trenton, Davian, Devine, Billy, Sebastian, Ellie, Hailey, Boyd, Hunter, Wyatt, Bella, Mahkenzee, and Deeghan; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Quentin; his brother Michael Kraemer; and sisters Carol (Perry) Rathke, Diane (Scott) Opitz, Anne Bennett an Patti Doman.
His family wishes to extend a special thanks to Preceptor Hospice and to the dedicated staff of Compassionate Heights Assisted Living for the years of service and comfort they provided for Roger. The family will always be grateful for their kindness.
With respect to Roger's wishes, the family will not be holding a memorial service nor a funeral. He wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a hardworking, loving father and loyal friend. A celebration of his life will be held later this summer. Date is to be determined.
