Obituary for Rosemarie Schmidt (Dehler)
Rosemarie Schmidt, age 87 of Slinger, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend, Wisconsin. She was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota July 11, 1935, the daughter of Cecelia (Zierden) and Albert Dehler.
Rosemarie farmed alongside her husband, which she enjoyed taking care of the farm animals and her pets as well. She loved to garden, cook and bake. She also cherished her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rosemarie is survived by her children, Randall, Harold, Steven (Linda), Dwain ("Nellie" Lisa), many grandchildren and great grandchildren and former daughter-in-law Carol. She is also survived by her siblings, Margaret Moser, Peter Dehler, Joan (Leon) Schmidt, Judy (Rodger) VanEperen, Paul (Marcy) Dehler, Mary (Mark) Theisen, Dorothy Bunke, Sue Wessel, Frank (Shirley) Dehler, Joe (Chris) Dehler, Albert (Sandy) Dehler and brother-in-law Kenneth (Elaine) Schmidt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband LaVerne, sister Betty and many sisters & brothers-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend, with Pastor Paul Zachow officiating. Please join the family for a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
