Obituary

Shellie Amber Becker, age 18, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019. She was born on March 29, 2001 in West Bend. She graduated from Slinger High School Class of 2019 and was currently employed as a residential aide at Wellington Place in Hartford.

Shellie had so much passion for life. She loved to go up north to the family house where she would enjoy ice fishing, hiking, bon fires and most of all, going to Pickeral Point. She loved her car and driving. Her family and friends were her world along with music, her love for Sri Lanken food, and going to different restaurants. She loved spending time on the farm. Shellie was accepted into Bryant & Stratton College with a scholarship for their nursing program in January 2020.

She is survived by her loving parents Allen and Anita (nee Hepponstall) Becker; grandfather, Ronald (Kathy Bossler) Hepponstall; aunts and uncles, Patricia (Terry) O’Sullivan, Jennifer (Dan) Eberhardt, Deanna (Trevor) Carter, Karen Hepponstall, Larry Gochenauer, and Jane Becker; cousins, Rodney, Cindy, Henry, Jason, Linda (her Godmother), Crystal, Debbie, Joey, Heidi, Amanda, Jeff, Tammy, Jamie, Tanya, Travis, Wendy, Steve, and their spouses and children; as well as her boyfriend, Isaiah Dierbeck Davis.

Shellie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Phillip and Dorothy Becker, Sheila Hepponstall; aunts and uncles, Marline Gochenauer, and Rodney, Bryan, Kenneth, Hepponstall, and Dale Becker (her Godfather), and Marvin Becker.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). The Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 17 from 3:00 PM until 5:45 PM.

The family offers a special thank you to the truck driver who stopped to help put out the fire in her car, to the person who called 911, to all the first responders, police officers, firefighters, state patrol, Sheriff’s Department, Highway Department, and the Medical Examiner’s Office. They offer an extra special thank you to Detective Sgt. Schmitt of Germantown. “Words can not express how thankful we are of all of you."

Linda, friends & family, I simply cannot imagine the hurt, anger and raw emotions you are feeling right now. There are no words that can ease any of your pain or any way to make sense of such a terrible tragedy. I hope it gives you all a little comfort knowing so many people, so near and far, are thinking about you all and praying for you all every minute of every day.
