Obituary for Thomas Louis Stollberg

Thomas L. Stollberg, age 91 of West Bend, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. He was born September 15, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, one of twelve children to Frieda (Schultz) and Elmer Stollberg.

Tom served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged December 30, 1953. He married Phyllis Sylvia Kendler July 14, 1956 and together they raised two daughters. He retired from Milwaukee Public Schools in 1991 as a custodian. Tom enjoyed eating his “sweets” and spending time up north fishing with his family who he loved dearly. He had a passion for watching sports, especially the Milwaukee Brewers. He was an extremely giving man to those he loved.

Loving dad of Sandy (Mike), Terri (John), proud grandpa of five grandchildren, Jon (Jamie), Danny, Nicole (Dave), JJ (Mandy), Kayla (Rachel) and seven great grandchildren, Braydon, Cooper, Emma, Josh, Justin, Abby, Hailey, four siblings, Jim (Carolyn), Marge (Howie), Grace, Shirley (Bill) and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Phyllis, siblings, Marion, Ray, Harold, Roger, Nancy, Karen and Judy.

Visitation will be held 4-5:45 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at Phillip Funeral Home with a time of sharing at 6:00 p.m. with Military Honors accorded to follow. Interment will be held privately at Washington County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of your choice.
