Obituary for Walter Joseph Loeffelad

Wally J. Loeffelad of the Town of Trenton passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2021, at the age of 58. He was born on June 12, 1962, in Milwaukee to Walter and Donna (nee Heine) Loeffelad. He was raised in Menomonee Falls/Lannon area and attended Sussex Hamilton High School Class of 1981. On April 6, 1991, he married Deb Becker at Holy Trinity Church in Newburg.

Wally was employed at Rockwell Automation. His hobbies include coaching his daughter’s softball teams, watching the Brewers, Packers and UW Madison football games, bowling, playing softball and fishing.

Wally is survived by his wife Deb, daughters Sara (Landon) Balster, Hannah (Zach Swosinski) Loeffelad and Emma Loeffelad, his mother Donna Gnewikow, his sister Linda Loeffelad and niece Amy Dalton, stepsister Becky (Duane) Yorde, mother-in-law Barb Becker other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Walter, stepfather Donald Gnewikow and father-in-law John Becker.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Wally will be held on Saturday June 12th at his house 6426 Pleasant Hill Dr. West Bend (Town of Trenton) from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. There will be no formal service.

Deb and Wally know many men and women on the Newburg Fire Department and would like to thank them for all they do every day. The family appreciates the care and love the provided for Wally.

Wally was able to give to life through tissue and bone donation.
