My heart is saddened for the Hunter family. I myself have a son the same age and can not even imagine what you must be going through. There is One who sees our pain and heartbreak and promises that he "is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalms 34:18). In the very near future we are given the hope of welcoming back our loved ones by means of an earthly resurrection (John 5:28,29) What a joyous time that will be when we are able to see our loved ones smiles and welcome them back with open arms. May these promises bring you much comfort for they will not fail to come true (Titus 1:2). As you reflect on memories of Jeffery left behind, keep these promises close to your hearts. May the "God of All Comfort" be with you now and in the difficult days to come. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
