Condolence: I have not seen Hattie in many years because I was not living in the area...I worked with Hattie many years ago in the late 70's early 80's at St. Anne's ...I was a nurse there and worked when I knew that Hattie was working I would always have a great day! She was such a joy to be around...the residents loved her..all the staff loved her...she was such a hard worker...she also gave me lots of recipes because she very often brought dishes she made to work for all to share...everything was always so delicious! I wish I would have kept in touch with her...I found this today when I tried to look her up...I am so saddened with her passing...but oh my gosh the wonderful memories I will never lose...She always had a smile on her face and I can still hear her laughter...God Bless You Hattie

Condolence: Knowing how the early life of Hattie & her siblings went, it would hav been easy for her to be bitter. She chose love & kindness & charity. That is how she lived for her children, her family, her friends. As It goes, there were more trials thruout her life, but one was unthinkable, simply out of order. Children should not pass befor parents. Shelly did, RIP. That earthly wound does not heal. A bit of sparkle left Aunt Hattie's eyes, but she continued to give to & do for others, with the many smiles & laughs she had left, after all she had faced. I was always happier when I was around Aunt Hattie & now I regret not visiting her more. So early in the throes of Aunt Hattie's passing, I struggled with the "celebration" of funerals nowadays bcuz it is not a happy event. But being surrounded by all these people & stories to love & honor my Aunt Hattie did give me laughter to balance my tears, & started moving my mourning toward healing. Condolences to my Uncle Len, my cousins & their families. To them & AuntHattie's extended fam, I love you & always very much enjoy hangin with all of you.

Condolence: My love and condolences to Len, Lisa, Denny, and Jeff. And to all the family. Hattie was always the one in our family who looked after her younger siblings. When she earned money, she spent it all on us younger ones: taking us to the movies, paying our bus fare to wherever we went and so on. She was a great lady and fun to be with. She had a most giving heart . I will miss her dearly. Rest in peace Hattie, in God's loving arms.

Condolence: May fond memories of Hattie bring you comfort during this difficult time. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these with your loved one. My heart and prayers go out to your family. Jehovah God longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live again. The Bible calls God "the source of life" at Psalms 36:9.
