Obituary for Janis Marie Heinemann (Krueger)

Janis M. Heinemann (nee Krueger), age 81 years of Hubertus, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017 at The Pavillion of Glacier Valley.

Janis was born on December 30, 1935 to Harvey and Marie (nee Merten) Krueger in West Bend. She attended UW Madison, UW Milwaukee and Mount Sinai School of nursing where she received her nursing degree. Janis practiced as a certified RN epidemiologist, later retiring from Community Memorial Hospital in 1999.

Janis is survived by her husband Jack. Loving mother of Cheryl (Peter) Johnson of DeForest, WI, Julie (William) Wolf of Richfield and Renee (Richard) Herrmann of Richfield. Proud grandmother of Samantha and Ian Johnson, William Wolf, Lindsey (Andrew) Zignego, Richard (Sarah) Herrmann and Mitchell Herrmann, great-grandchildren Emma, Caleb and Damian Zignego, brother Harvey (Sally) Krueger of Wooster, OH, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Pavillion of Glacier Valley (1900 American Eagle Dr., Slinger, WI 53086) are appreciated.

A Special Thank You to the administration, nurses, staff, and nurse Vicki at The Pavillion of Glacier Valley, along with the staff at Allay Hospice for all their loving care of Janis.
