Obituary for Beulah A Nothem (Goschey)

Beulah A. Nothem (nee Goschey), age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in West Bend. She was born on August 10, 1928 in Barton, WI to Joseph and Edna (nee Burkholz) Goschey. In her early years, she worked in a shoe factory, St. Joseph’s Hospital, the West Bend Company, the Samaritan and Cedar Lake Home. Beulah married Ralph E. Nothem on February 6, 1951. She enjoyed needle point, sewing, crocheting, knitting, cooking, baking, loved dancing and gardening. Beulah was a kind, loving, positive, happy, always helping others. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, volunteered at the blood Center and Historical Society.

Beulah is survived by her children Keith Nothem, Pastor David Nothem, Mark (Nancy) Nothem, Sandra (David) Noegel, and Jeff (Lara Funke-Nothem) Nothem; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by in laws; Harold (Arlene) Nothem, Arnie (Rosemary) Nothem and Mary Jane Powers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph, daughter Donna Nothem, sons Terry Nothem and Tyler Nothem, siblings Edwin Goschey, Esther Gray, Marcella Heider, Herbert Goschey, daughters-in-law Betty Christen-Nothem and Carol Nothem

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 5:00PM on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095) with Father Patrick Heppe presiding. Visitation will be AT CHURCH from 3:00PM until the time of Mass. The entombment will be on Wednesday, August 16, 2016 at 9:30AM at Washington County Memorial Park in the Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association (620 S. 76th St, Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1599) and the Waterford of West Bend (831 E. Washington St, West Bend, WI 53095)
