Obituary for Charles Donald Peske

Charles D. “Chuck” Peske passed away Thursday July 26, 2018 at the age of 85 years. He was born on February 18, 1933 in Milwaukee to Charles W. and Caroline E. (nee Holtman) Peske. Chuck was a graduate of Marquette University and MSOE, a veteran of the United States Army and a Korean War Veteran. On June 21, 1958 Chuck married Ione Michels and began their family. Chuck enjoyed attending jazz and symphony concerts, hosting and cooking for friends and family at 4th of July picnics, fish boils, Who Done It Mystery dinners, making themed birthday cakes for his children and grandchildren. He also attended Metro Bible Studies at St John Vianney Church in Brookfield. Chuck was an avid reader, cribbage player and loved to travel and learn about local history.

Chuck is survived by his cherished wife Ione, his much loved children; Christopher (Beth), Theresa (Jeff) Bolwerk, and Mary (Mike) Nowakowski, his precious grandchildren; Sam (Allison), John, Abbey, Maya, Cole, Emily, Eric, Evan and great-granddaughter baby Grace Alice, his brother John (Suzanne) Peske, son-in-law Lee (Michelle) Erzberger other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter Cindy Erzberger

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday July 31 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. 7th Ave) with Fr Andrew Infanger presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday July 31 from 2:00pm until time of mass at 3:00pm. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at New Perspective Senior Living and Compassionate Care Hospice for all their loving care they gave to Chuck.
