Obituary for Eleanore Elizabeth "Ellie" Redeker (Rake)

Redeker, Eleanore Elizabeth “Ellie” (nee Rake), of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Redeker. Dear mother of Becky (Gary) Reynolds and Mitchell (Amy) Redeker. Proud grandma of Cayla, Jake, Samantha, Tyler, Sam, and Dan. Treasured friend and family member of Craig and Darlene Barbian. Also survived by sisters, Kathy (Byron) Kamphuis and Mickey Weeden, and brother Terry (Joan) Rake; sisters-in-law Murial (Millard) Gerndt, Eileen Madsen, and Joyce (Lee) Foreman. Further survived by nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, Theodore and Eleanor Rake; sister, Paulette Rake; in-laws William and Elvena Redeker; brothers-in-law, Milton Kloosterboer and William Madsen.

Ellie was retired from Wacker Neuson in Menomonee Falls and was an ardent fan of the Badgers, Brewers, and especially the Green Bay Packers. Ellie was an avid bowler over the years in both West Bend and Milwaukee. Family and friends share many special memories over 40 years of bowling with Ellie.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. in West Bend. The memorial service will follow visitation at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow service at Washington County Memorial Park.
