Obituary for Harold James Henckel

Harold J. Henckel of Sheboygan Falls, formerly of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the age of 68 years.

Harold was born on October 22, 1945 in Sheboygan to Robert and Mabel (nee Salm) Henckel. He married Carolyn Reano on February 15, 1969 in Sheboygan.

In his retirement, Harold enjoyed owning and running a business with his son, David. However, above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Harold is survived by his wife Carolyn of Sheboygan Falls; children David (Kristi) of Cedarburg and Katie (Ben) Zukowski of Pleasant Prairie; and grandchildren Noah, Isabelle, and Ava. He is further survived by his sisters Judy Klingbeil and Susan (Fred Fass) Henckel; in-laws Peter and Katherine Reano of Sheboygan Falls; sisters-in-law Linda (Jim Zalabsky) Reano, Kathy (Jim) Bolgert, and Christine Reano; brother-in-law Mike Reano, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Roger Klingbeil.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Harold will be at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave. in West Bend. Visitation will be at the church from 3:00 PM until 4:45 PM on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Full Shelf Food Pantry, Inc. (231 Municipal Dr., West Bend, WI 53095) or the Salvation Army of Greater Sheboygan (710 Pennsylvania Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53081).

The family wishes to express a special Thank You to the first responders and emergency staff of Aurora Memorial Medical Center of Sheboygan for their care and efforts during this time.
